Paddy, you are the best piper, i've ever heard. It is sad, that you haven't fully solo albums! Thank you and all Chieftains for your music!

Chieftains,
I'm anxious for my kids (8 & 10 years-old) to enjoy one of your concerts--especially if there are dancers in the program. We saw you a couple years ago in Minneapolis and have been watching for you this year to no avail. Are you coming to the Twin Cities anytime soon?

“Scotland Bound” is a song I’ve dedicated to Scotland’s most precious commodity, its children. And frankly I can’t think of a better group than the Chieftains to perform it. So if you are at all interested in reading the lyrics to “Scotland Bound”. By all means, just let me know where to send them. Slàinte, John Clements

Does anyone read these messages or respond the questions posed here? I have noticed a lot of people looking for various answers (me included)and I was curious to know if these comments and questions just fly out into cyberspace or if anyone connected to The Chieftains gets around to answering them? Anyone?

Just a note of thanks for the musical joy The
chieftains spread. Your inclusive approach to your art is indeed wonderful stuff. I've attended Chieftains concerts in Naples and Gainesville, FL and will be there again when you're back this way. Hopefully sooner than later. Someone told me Paddy has a place in Naples. True or false?

I have been desperately searching for the song being played in the Pub in Patriot Games when Harrison Ford and Richard Harris first meet; the one in which the phrase ends "pride of our land." I'm sure it's a Chieftains tune, but I know not which one. Can anyone help?

I only heard of you guys since I read Frank Zappas biography and I loved FZ, so I did some research and found out you guys inspired Great Big Sea, which just put out a phenomenal album on old music which I love. Now I don't steal music from the internet, but would like to sample some of your music before I purchase.... any resources on the net with Chieftain clips for sampling????

Grettings from Northern Michigan! There is nothing like step dancing and fiddelin' to the Chieftains to stay warm during the frosty cold winter and nothing as festive as the Chieftians music all year long. Wish I had a Irish fiddle teacher up here! Blessings and thank you all for the most magical music ever!

I'm currently listening to your Christmas album "Bells of Dublin" as I am attempting to play them on my violin. My family surprised me with a trip to Ireland for my high school graduation present! Do you think you will you be in Dublin in July? Just curious. Happy Holidays ~ keep playing your wonderful music!
